AFC South

Standard

1. Houston Texans

They believe they have found their QB in Brock Osweiler. Now it’s time to go out and prove it.

2. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts success relies on whether Andrew Luck will avoid a repeat of the 2015 debacle.

3. Jacksonville Jaguars

Was last season just a fluke? For Gus Bradley’s job security it better not be.

4. Tennessee Titans

Having two workhorse running backs to go with QB Marcus Mariota is a great start to their rebuilding plan.

Houston Texans

Head Coach: Bill O’Brien

Key Position: Quarterback

They believe they have found their franchise quarterback in Brock Osweiler. Now is the time for him to show that all that time backing up Peyton Manning in Denver will payoff. He has shown flashes that he can be great under the bright spotlight at Mile High.

Key Acquisitions: RB Lamar Miller (Miami Dolphins), G Jeff Allen (Kansas City Chiefs), QB Brock Osweiler (Denver Broncos)

Key Rookies: WR Will Fuller, G Nick Martin, WR Braxton Miller

Indianapolis Colts

Head Coach: Chuck Pagano

Key Position: Offensive Line

Using their first round pick on Ryan Kelly was a smart move. This unit needs to get better fast. Andrew Luck is able to throw the football with accuracy outside of the pocket. That doesn’t mean they can let him throw under pressure while in the pocket.

Key Acquisitions: CB Patrick Robinson (San Diego Chargers), RB Jordan Todman (Pittsburgh Steelers), RB Robert Turbin (Dallas Cowboys)

Key Rookies: C Ryan Kelly, DT Hassan Ridgeway

Jacksonville Jaguars

Head Coach: Gus Bradley

Key Position: Defense

The offense made tremendous strides last season. One of the reasons is because the defense couldn’t stop the other teams offense. That should change with a healthy Dante Fowler, the acquisition of Malik Jackson and drafting Jalen Ramsey. Look for an overall improvement on defense.

Key Acquisitions: CB Prince Amukamara (New York Giants), T Kelvin Beachum (Pittsburgh Steelers), S Tashaun Gipson (Cleveland Browns), RB Chris Ivory (New York Jets), DT Malik Jackson (Denver Broncos)

Key Rookies: CB Jalen Ramsey, LB Myles Jack, DE Yannick Ngakoue, DT Sheldon Day

Tennessee Titans

Head Coach: Mike Mularkey (Interim)

Key Position: Offense

Marcus Mariota had a solid rookie season. However, he was relied on far too much with their lackluster running game. Bringing in DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry will help alleviate that pressure on Mariota and he can continue to develop his pocket presence.

Key Acquisitions: QB Matt Cassel (Dallas Cowboys), WR Andre Johnson (Indianapolis Colts), S Rashad Johnson (Arizona Cardinals), WR Rishard Matthews (Miami Dolphins), CB Brice McCain (Miami Dolphins), RB DeMarco Murray (Philadelphia Eagles)

Key Rookies: T Jack Conklin, DE/LB Kevin Dodd, NT Austin Johnson, RB Derrick Henry
