For the second time in franchise history the Tampa Bay Lightning have won the Stanley Cup. The last time they won it was in 2004. They have been heavy favorites to win the Cup the last two seasons, but finally got over the hurdle and accomplished it this year.
In their 51 years of existence, they’ve been to four Stanley Cup Finals. They lost the first three appearances during their first three years in the NHL. In those 51 years they also made the playoffs 42 times. All in all they have had a lot of success, but haven’t been able to hoist the Cup until now.

St. Louis Blues vs. Boston Bruins
A team that was at the bottom of the standings for the entire league back in January, has now clinched a spot in the Stanley Cup Final. That honor belongs to the St. Louis Blues who will be making their fourth appearance in franchise history.
In their 43 year history, they’ve appeared in only two Stanley Cup Finals. With this being their second appearance, the Washington Capitals made the most of it and finished off the Vegas Golden Knights in five games.
