NFC South
Standard1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
There is no reason to think that with all 22 starters returning from last years Super Bowl that they won’t at least get to the Conference title game.
2. New Orleans Saints
QB Drew Brees has retired and the torch has been passed to Jameis Winston. This will be an interesting team to watch.
3. Carolina Panthers
They still have a ways to go, but trading for QB Sam Darnold was a good move. Low risk and high reward.
4. Atlanta Falcons
The belief is that QB Matt Ryan can still help this team for a couple more years, which is why they drafted TE Kyle Pitts instead of a quarterback. That could come back to haunt them.

Not having Tyler Seguin for a large portion of the year could come back to hurt them. Thankfully their defense is their bread and butter.
3. Carolina Hurricanes
If they can get a consistent goalie during the playoffs, they’ll be tough to beat.
4. Columbus Blue Jackets
Just when you think they won’t be contenders they always find a way.
5. Florida Panthers
If goalie Sergei Bobrovsky can regain his Vezina trophy winning form, they should be a playoff team.
6. Nashville Predators
It looks like the days of ‘Smashville’ are just about over.
7. Chicago Blackhawks
There is no denying that they are rebuilding now and for the foreseeable future.
8. Detroit Red Wings
