A stacked roster now has a former AL MVP in Mookie Betts to torment opposing pitchers.

2. Arizona Diamondbacks

They took some important steps forward last season and now have Madison Bumgarner to anchor their staff.

3. San Diego Padres

This could be a big year for them with two high priced players (Hosmer and Machado) and a nice blend of up and coming talent around the diamond.

4. Colorado Rockies

Not much to speak of other than a very vocal star in Nolan Arenado not liking the direction of the club.

5. San Francisco Giants

They are a far cry from where they were 10 years ago.

Assuming the Cowboys do pay Ezekiel Elliott, this is a talented roster that could push towards the Super Bowl.

2. Philadelphia Eagles

The salary cap crunch hasn’t caught up to them yet. There’s no safety net in Nick Foles should Carson Wentz go down.

3. New York Giants

While they didn’t do a complete overhaul this team is firmly in the hands of head coach Pat Shurmur and GM Dave Gettleman.
