They were the winners of the offseason, but it will be interesting to see how it plays out for a 162 game season.

4. Colorado Rockies

Their offense will be the main reason why they’ll remain competitive this year.

5. San Diego Padres

A simple quick fix is what they’re looking for after a disastrous 2015 season.

The upstart Astros with a legitimate closer should vid for the division title.

Health will always be a huge factor for them and a healthy Yu Darvish is the prime example of that.

3. Los Angeles Angels

They’ll go back to basics with pitching, defense and a return to playing small ball.

4. Seattle Mariners

They’ve cleaned house from top to bottom. They’ll need another year to get things in order.

5. Oakland Athletics

With payroll limitations and a football stadium as their home, another year in the cellar seems in order.

10 Questions Heading Into Spring Training

Halloween came and went. We stuffed our faces during Thanksgiving and celebrated the season at Christmas. We rang in the New Year and let Valentines go to the wayside. Pretty soon the unofficial holiday of Opening Day will be upon us and there are always a ton of questions as to what the new baseball season will bring us. 2015 Winter Meetings Recap

The talk of the annual Winter Meetings in baseball usually is dominated by one team. Like in the case of last years meetings, the San Diego Padres made many trades that were supposed to help them get back into contention. Those moves didn’t quite pan out and this year they’ve remained quiet. Lots of rumors get floated around and it gets hard to really figure out what is and isn’t true.
