1. Tennessee Titans

This will likely be the last hurrah with QB Ryan Tannehill after last years disappointing exit in the playoffs.

2. Indianapolis Colts

Indy is starting over again at quarterback with a former MVP in Matt Ryan.

3. Houston Texans

It doesn’t mean much, but they actually had moments last season that bode well in their rebuild.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars

Other than being responsible for the influx of cash being spent on wide receivers this offseason, it’s the same old Jaguars.

AFC North

1. Cincinnati Bengals

This is a new era in which they shall not be referred to as the ‘Bungals’.

2. Baltimore Ravens

Health and whether QB Lamar Jackson can return to his MVP form of 2019 will determine their success.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers

It’ll be interesting to see if Pittsburgh sneaks in and clinches a Wild Card spot this year.

4. Cleveland Browns

Not having newly acquired QB Deshaun Watson for the first 11 games will set them up for failure this season.

1. Buffalo Bills

All the pieces are in place for them to take the top spot in the AFC.

2. Miami Dolphins

A busy offseason that involved a coaching change and the acquisition of WR Tyreek Hill.

3. New England Patriots

They will remain competitive, but almost the entire conference has a better crop of players.

4. New York Jets

They should be better as Robert Saleh has them trending in the right direction.

Vin Scully 1927 – 2022

Rest In Peace Vin Scully

My thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends.

“I will simply say to Mr. Scully, thank you sir for sharing your stories and insight on the great game of baseball over your 67 years of broadcasting. It was a pleasure to listen to you.”

I wrote that back in October of 2016 after his last broadcast. Thank you for everything Vin.

2022 MLB All-Star Teams

For the 92nd year of the Midsummer Classic, baseball goes to Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The last time the mid-summer classic was played in LA was in 1980. Now every year there is always a lot of discussion and some of it a little dated about how the teams are put together. No system will ever be perfect. Fans don’t always get it right and managers won’t either, nor the commissioner’s office. The fact that the players are able to vote for participants was a great choice and they know who is deserving. Regardless of who should or shouldn’t be in the game lets just accept that the best players will always be involved one way or another. Here are my all-stars keeping with the rules that every team be represented and a total of 32 players for each league.
