AFC North

Standard

1. Pittsburgh Steelers

A full season with Le’Veon Bell and Martavis Bryant will do wonders for their Super Bowl aspirations.

2. Cincinnati Bengals

With a bit more balance on offense, the Bengals should be Wild Card contenders this year.

3. Baltimore Ravens

The defense is missing playmakers while there are still questions about the offense surrounding Joe Flacco.

4. Cleveland Browns

Another season of lowered expectations, but back-to-back years of strong drafts has Cleveland remaining optimistic.

Head Coach: Mike Tomlin

Key Position: Defense

On the offensive side of the ball, they’re going to score plenty of points this season. For the defense they are quickly becoming a cohesive unit that has now been enhanced with the arrival of Joe Haden to provide more depth for a young secondary.

Key Acquisitions: CB Joe Haden (Cleveland Browns), TE Vance McDonald (San Francisco 49ers)

Key Rookies: LB T.J. Watt, WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, RB James Conner

Head Coach: Marvin Lewis

Key Position: Running Back

It was almost non-existent at times last season. With Giovani Bernard back and healthy that will help. Jeremy Hill’s days could be numbered with the drafting of Joe Mixon in the second round. He’s the best of both Bernard and Hill.

Key Acquisitions: G Andre Smith (Minnesota Vikings), LB Kevin Minter (Arizona Cardinals)

Key Rookies: WR John Ross, RB Joe Mixon, DE Jordan Willis

Head Coach: John Harbaugh

Key Position: Running Back

They have been unable to find a solution the running back position since they released Ray Rice. Brining in Danny Woodhead is a solid choice to give Joe Flacco a good check down option, but who is going to be the bruiser?

Key Acquisitions: CB Brandon Carr (Dallas Cowboys), RB Danny Woodhead (Los Angeles Chargers), S Tony Jefferson (Arizona Cardinals), WR Jeremy Maclin (Kansas City Chiefs)

Key Rookies: CB Marlon Humphrey, LB Tyus Bowser, LB Tim Williams

Head Coach: Hue Jackson

Key Position: Everything

The new regime is tearing down what the previous one has built. Something has to give where the Browns see some kind of success coming their way for all of the misfortunes they’ve suffered through.

Key Acquisitions: CB Jason McCourty (Tennessee Titans), S Calvin Pryor (New York Jets), C JC Tretter (Green Bay Packers), G Kevin Zeitler (Cincinnati Bengals), WR Kenny Britt (Los Angeles Rams)

Key Rookies: DE Myles Garrett, S Jabrill Peppers, TE David Njoku, QB DeShone Kizer, DT Larry Ogunjobi
