AFC South

Standard

1. Jacksonville Jaguars

They made an amazing late season push to clinch the division last year. It’s theirs to lose going into 2023.

2. Houston Texans

The future looks extremely bright for the Texans and it starts with the hiring of DeMeco Ryans as their head coach.

3. Tennessee Titans

If anyone knows what the Titans are doing, you might want to let them know because I don’t think they know what they are doing either.

4. Indianapolis Colts

Time will tell if Anthony Richardson will be the franchise quarterback they need him to be, but they’ve all but burned the bridge with RB Jonathan Taylor who is an important safety net for the QB.

AFC North

Standard

1. Cincinnati Bengals

There are a lot of key contributors on offense who will be due for new contracts after this season. This is the time for them to capitalize on getting back to the Super Bowl.

2. Baltimore Ravens

QB Lamar Jackson got his extension and was provided an influx of new receiving targets. Now it’s time to show what he can do with it.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers

This could be one of the best Steeler teams in recent memory under Mike Tomlin. Unfortunately they play in an ultra-competitive AFC North.

4. Cleveland Browns

With a full season of Deshaun Watson at quarterback, all eyes will be on Cleveland and whether they made a huge mistake.

AFC East

Standard

1. Buffalo Bills

This kind of feels like a ‘make or break’ kind of season for them to finally punch their ticket into a Super Bowl with the current crop of players.

2. New York Jets

All they needed last year was a competent quarterback. They have that now in Aaron Rodgers.

3. Miami Dolphins

Their high powered offense depends on the health of QB Tua Tagovailoa and the hiring of Vic Fangio as defensive coordinator has expectations high in South Beach.

4. New England Patriots

I find it hard to believe that Bill Belichick thought having two assistants run the offense with no offensive coaching experience was going to work out last season.

2023 MLB All-Star Teams

Standard

For the 93rd year of the Midsummer Classic, baseball goes to T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington. The last time the mid-summer classic was played in Seattle was in 2001. Now every year there is always a lot of discussion and some of it a little dated about how the teams are put together. No system will ever be perfect. Fans don’t always get it right and managers won’t either, nor the commissioner’s office. The fact that the players are able to vote for participants was a great choice and they know who is deserving. Regardless of who should or shouldn’t be in the game lets just accept that the best players will always be involved one way or another. Here are my all-stars keeping with the rules that every team be represented and a total of 32 players for each league.
