NFC West

Standard

1. San Francisco 49ers

They have a stacked roster once again and the last pick of the 2022 draft, QB Brock Purdy, was one game away from leading them to a Super Bowl last season.

2. Seattle Seahawks

The surprise team of the 2022 season returns mostly intact with QB Geno Smith looking to prove he wasn’t a one year wonder.

3. Los Angeles Rams

This could be the final year with the trio of head coach Sean McVay, QB Matthew Stafford and DT Aaron Donald. All three have contemplated retiring in the last couple off-seasons.

4. Arizona Cardinals

It was a tear down operation with the previous front office and coaching staff being shown the door. The roster is currently under renovation as well.

NFC South

Standard

1. New Orleans Saints

They should win this division by default simply for having the better quarterback in Derek Carr.

2. Atlanta Falcons

Back-to-back 7-win seasons has Atlanta primed for a chance to take this extremely weak division.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

They were wildly inconsistent last year, but won the division because Tom Brady was around. Now QB Baker Mayfield has replaced the retired Brady. This will be interesting to watch.

4. Carolina Panthers

It will be a painful ride, but the franchise is Bryce Young’s to lead going forward at quarterback.

NFC North

Standard

1. Detroit Lions

If they get off to a better start this season, they should run away with this division.

2. Minnesota Vikings

3. Green Bay Packers

No more Aaron Rodgers at quarterback. It’s time to see if head coach Matt LaFleur can stay afloat.

4. Chicago Bears

They are going all in on QB Justin Fields. He has plenty of targets to throw to now without having to rush for over 1,000 yards again.

NFC East

Standard

1. Philadelphia Eagles

A stacked roster took a hit in the offseason, but their core remains poised to continue dominating the NFC.

2. Dallas Cowboys

For a franchise that hasn’t appeared in a conference title game since 1995, owner Jerry Jones has been taking it pretty well.

3. New York Giants

Their progression back to contention has now accelerated after last years Wild Card upset over Minnesota.

4. Washington Commanders

AFC West

Standard

1. Kansas City Chiefs

They’re going for their eighth consecutive division title, sixth consecutive conference title game and fourth Super Bowl appearance out of the last five.

2. Los Angeles Chargers

They must get over that Wild Card disaster from last year. To do that they will need to keep RB Austin Ekeler happy and hope key players don’t get injured like they did last season.

3. Las Vegas Raiders

Vegas is quickly becoming the Patriots of the West. Enter QB Jimmy Garoppolo who reunites with head coach Josh McDaniels from their days in the Northeast.

4. Denver Broncos

Was last season a fluke or a sign of things to come for QB Russell Wilson? New head coach Sean Payton should be able to steer this ship back on track.
