Salary cap hell is approaching and this will likely be the last year with this current group to finally cash in and win a Super Bowl title.

2. Los Angeles Rams

With a healthy QB Matthew Stafford and a healthy WR Cooper Kupp, they could push for a top spot for the Wild Card and maybe the division should the Niners falter.

3. Seattle Seahawks

A new regime is taking shape at the coaching ranks. Can the new look defense match what the offense can produce on a weekly basis?

4. Arizona Cardinals

I don’t see Arizona giving up on QB Kyler Murray should he falter or get hurt again this season, but time is running out on his worth in the desert.

1. Atlanta Falcons

They brought in the quarterback in Kirk Cousins and drafted his future replacement in Michael Penix Jr. And they also improved their defense which puts them atop the favorites to win the South.

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Winners of the NFC South the last three seasons, there’s no denying that they can do it again, but they still have some weak spots that weren’t addressed.

3. New Orleans Saints

The head coaching prowess of Dennis Allen will come into question this season as will the future of QB Derek Carr in New Orleans should they stumble.

4. Carolina Panthers

With an owner as volatile as David Tepper, the Panthers will struggle to have some semblance of normalcy in the immediate future.
