NFC East

Standard

1. Philadelphia Eagles

The defending Super Bowl champions defense took a hit in free agency. The offense will have to shoulder more if they want to defend their title.

2. Washington Commanders

They were one win shy of making an appearance in the Super Bowl. Can QB Jayden Daniels repeat or exceed his fantastic rookie season?

3. Dallas Cowboys

Oh what a season we have to look forward to. Where will the Cowboys find themselves come January?

4. New York Giants

Three new quarterbacks have been brought in. Their future will ride with Jaxson Dart, but for now they have Russell Wilson in the twilight of his career.

AFC West

Standard

1. Kansas City Chiefs

Until it actually happens and they are dethroned, they will remain atop the AFC West.

2. Los Angeles Chargers

A completely revamped backfield has the Chargers offense setup to make some noise in a crowded field in the AFC.

3. Denver Broncos

Last season wasn’t a fluke. If QB Bo Nix can duplicate his rookie season with the defense they have put together they could surprise some opponents.

4. Las Vegas Raiders

They could be poised to finally start turning things around. Hiring Pete Carroll as their head coach is a step in that direction. I’m not so sure about acquiring QB Geno Smith though.

AFC South

Standard

1. Houston Texans

It’s their division unless someone else takes it from them. That’s not to say that the Texans aren’t good, it’s the fact that it is the easiest division to win in the NFL.

2. Jacksonville Jaguars

QB Trevor Lawrence will be playing under his third head coach in just his fifth season. For his sake the Jaguars better have figured this out.

3. Indianapolis Colts

It’s safe to say that they should not have taken QB Anthony Richardson with the 4th overall pick in the 2023 draft. QB Daniel Jones will try to re-establish himself as a top signal caller being the 6th overall pick in the 2019 draft for the New York Giants.

4. Tennessee Titans

Rookie QB Cam Ward should be remembered as the story of the 2025 draft. There’s good reason to believe that he can turn around this franchise in the near future.

AFC North

Standard

1. Baltimore Ravens

The roster is stacked once again, but can they find any success when the playoffs are under way?

2. Pittsburgh Steelers

The acquisition of QB Aaron Rodgers means that both he and the franchise have winning the Super Bowl as only goal for this season.

3. Cincinnati Bengals

If the defense makes just a few more plays to win a couple games, they will be playing in the playoffs this time around.

4. Cleveland Browns

This will probably be another lost season for a franchise that hasn’t had any stability since they were brought back in 1999.

AFC East

Standard

1. Buffalo Bills

QB Josh Allen is coming off a MVP season and the team as a whole are primed for a Super Bowl run.

2. Miami Dolphins

Some personnel changes were made and more almost happened. It will be a definite next offseason if this season ends up being another dud.

3. New England Patriots

They pivoted after only one season and hired former Super Bowl champion Mike Vrabel as their next head coach. The results should be a lot better than last year.

4. New York Jets

New head coach Aaron Glenn had some of his best seasons as a player with the New York Jets. Now it’ll be his turn to get this franchise on course.
