If their pitching staff can take another step in the right direction, they could contend for the NL West.
3. Colorado Rockies
They have possibly the best lineup in the National League and that will keep them in Wild Card contention.
4. San Francisco Giants
With all of their offseason moves to fix their lineup, they hope that will keep them out of the cellar.
5. San Diego Padres

A few tweaks to the pitching staff has the ‘lovable losers’ looking to get back to the Fall Classic.
2. St. Louis Cardinals
A busy offseason for the Redbirds with a lot of expectations to get back to playing in October.
3. Milwaukee Brewers
They were the surprise in the Central last year, but they won’t be able to sneak up on anyone this year.
4. Pittsburgh Pirates
The face of the franchise was traded. Now they need to enact their plan to remain competitive for the next crop.

Another managerial change could have a negative impact, but this is their best time to finally make a World Series run.

Their rotation stacks up against the best in baseball if they all remain healthy.

4. Philadelphia Phillies
A couple free agent signings along with their top minor league talent could have them sneaking up in the standings in the NL East.
